Two types, ENGINE-MOTOR and HYDRAULIC drives, are applicable.

ENGINE -MOTOR (ROPE SUSPENSION) DRIVE:

Drive unites (Engine-Motor) used in all elevators possesses ISO-9000 Quality and CE certificates and are produced by the leading European companies (Sicor, A.Sassi, Akar)

GTS uses, in all roped elevator applications, dual speed and infinitely speed drive (VVVF, vector controlled and closed cyclic) engine-motors

Besides the manufacturing tests, all engine-motors are subject to necessary tests (EN81-1) by us before the elevator is presented to service, and re-tested in consideration of for auto-tuning, control of isolation, electrical parameters (I,V,f,P,n), performance, vibration etc.

HYDRAULIC DRIVE:

Hydraulic elevators are the most advantageous for the buildings that require short car travels, with higher loading capacity and low speed.

Furthermore, these elevators may be installed afterwards in the buildings where there is no elevator pit, in case of existence of a wall hole.
